Founded in 5th century B.C. Named after Confucius. Their main principle is re; meaning benevolence, signifying good character in harmony with li (ritual norms), zi (loyalty to one's true nature), shu (cooperation), xiao (family loyalty). All together these make de (virtue). Confucius lived from 551 to 479 BC

Buddist has developed ino a wide variety of forms, ranging from an emphasis on religios rituals and worship of deites to a complete rejection of deities and rituals in favor of pure meditation.
