Booth chose his weapons and mentally prepared himself. He chose a Deringer .44 caliber, single shot, muzzle-loading pistol that could ony be fired once. His back up weapon was a Rio Grande knife. He dressed in all black and carried a few small items with him such as pictures of his 5 favorite girlfriends.

The men gothered to plan who they would kill. John Wilkes Booth was to kill the president (successful), George Azerodt was to kill the vice president (fail), Lewis Powell and David Herold were to kill the secretary of state (fail).

Booth quietly slips into the presidential box to kill the president. As Harry Hawke speaks a comical line, Booth walks up and shoots the president in the back of the head.

Rathbone is accustomed to the sound of gunshots and immediately jumps up only to be confronted by Booth. Booth swings the knife down and slices open Rathbones arm. Booth makes a run for it and jumps out of the presidents box onton the stage below.

Powell enters the Seward house in an atempt to murder the man. He discovers that his daughter and a Sergeant were in the room watching over him. The sergeant was stabbed a couple of times and Seward cheek was slashed open and as Powell fled on a horse he realized he had failed.

Booth and Herold arrive at Dr. Mudds house very early in the morning and it turns out that Booth's leg is broken.

Abraham Lincoln dies from his bullet wound at 7:22 in the morning.

They arrive at the household and are pointed in the direction of an old spy that can get them across the river.

They are taken to a thicket where they will spend the next few days before they continue their journey again.

Sam Arnold, Michael O'Laughlen, and Edmond Spangler were arrested for being previously involved with Booth.

Lincolns funeral was held in Washington and many people gethered in his honor.

Powell arrives at Mary Surratts house and is caught in a lie and gets arrested with no resistence.

Azerodt is arrested at his cousin's house and confesses everything.

Booth spends the first night at Garrett's farm.

Booth is forced to spend the night in a locked barn and is about to be captured and killed.

Booth gets trapped in a burning barn and a man named Corbett shoots him which leads to Booth being paralyzed and soon his death.
