    School

    Darwin goes to a boarding school, he dislikes it because it is, according to him "narrow and classical". He is removed from the boarding school because of not being able to adapt too well and eventually starts sort of "shadowing" his father while doing rounds as a doctor. later on darwin attends Edinburgh University, with his brother Erasmus, to also become a doctor like their father.

    University experience

    Darwin begins to meet his future mentors, like Robert Grant but simultaneously becomes unenthused about medicine and leaves the university. He however starts to study greek and clerical studies, and after his exams he ranks 10 out of 178 candidates.     Early Adulthood

    Darwin starts sharing his work, The beagle journal and observations on the coast of Chile. This causes him to be a part of the Athenaeum, the Royal Society and the Royal Geographical Society. He continues to publish on coral reefs, volcanic islands and the evolutionary theory.     Culmination

    Darwin receives multiple accolades from the high society, a Royal Medal, elected into the Philosophical club and Linnean Society. He received the Copley medal and through this Darwinism takes off. He also publishes the variations of animals and plants as well as the Descent of man. He is awarded an honorary doctorate of law.
