    In 1998 Siemens introduced the S10, the first color screen cell phone. Phones before this were only monochrome colors so having color on your phone screen was a novelty at this time.

    In 1999, Samsung introduced the SPH-M100 Uproar which included all features of a cell phone, with the ability to play music on the phone. Technology that seems so standard today was a huge thing when this was introduced. This combined 2 portable devices into one.

    Nokia creates a smaller more compact cell phone going into the 21st century. Nokia was really good at creating phones and being innovative and manufacturers had started to make slimmer or more compact phones. This phone is joked as one of the most indestructible phones of all times.

    Apple introduced the first iPhone, known as the iPhone 2G in 2007. The reason the phone was innovative is because the simplicity and smoothness of the OS, and the fact that it was mostly touch screen with just one home button.
