The Proclamation of 1763 was signed by King George lll. no one was not aloud in the west of Appalachian mountains. anyone on the west side of the Appalachian mountains had to move. -
Sugar act
this act increased the taxes when imported sugar. sugar was increased because of the war. The parliament raised the taxes on sugar. -
Stamp act
in march the parliament taxes was raised for the Americans. they put taxes on Americans to pay for British military. The taxes go to the British. -
Quartering act
The royal troops had to be fed and taken care of when they are weak by random people. The colonies had to house the British soldiers. they did not have to have permission to move into someones house. -
Townshend act
The townshend act made new series of taxes to the colonists to pay for protecting american items. they taxed items to import. they taxed paper, tea, glass, lead and paints. -
Boston massacre
Boston massacre started when a mob attacked British soldiers. The British killed 3 and injuring 6. they shot with muskets. -
Boston tea party
on december 16 1773 a group of men went to Boston harbor, calling themselves son of liberty. They were dressed as Mohawk Indians. Boston tea party was a response to tax tea. -
Boston port act
the Boston port was closed until the tea was recovered. moved to capital of Massachusetts. they made marblehead the official port of entry into Massachusetts. -
Massachusetts regulating act
the governor banned all town meetings because they didn't get approved. The policemen had to be picked by the governor. it was passed by great Britain. -
Quebec act
parliament Quebec act passed in 1774. the government made several selections that dealt with religious freedoms. Quebec act repealed loyalty oath, established religious freedoms.
