  • Child Fatality

    A child fatality occurs.

  • Notification

    The coroner/medical examiner is notified by State statute.

  • CFRP Chair

    The coroner/ME notifies the CFRP chairperson and they determine if a review is needed.

  • Meeting is Scheduled

    A meeting invite is sent by the Chair to the CFRP.
  • CFRP Meeting

    CFRP Meeting

    A CFRP meeting is held at the county courthouse and the case is discussed.
  • Data Entry

    Data Entry

    The Chair enters all data into the NCFRP system.
