They fed the cake to a dog and by doing this belived it would reverse the curse put on the afflicted girls. -

Cotton Mather writes a letter to the court of Oyer requesting the court not use spectral evidence and urging that the trials be speedy. The Court pays more attention to the request for speed and less attention to the request against spectral evidence. -

On July 19th Sarah Goode and Rebeca Nurse were hung along with Sussana Martin, Elizabeth Howe and Sarah Wildes. -
