    (c.i.) The Bubonic Plague was cause by black rats running around with fleas theat were infested with a bacillus called Yersinia pestis. Furthermore since people did not bathe almose everyone had the fleas.

    Social problems

    (c.iii.) As aresult of this plague Town pop. fell, inflation in prices, serfs left manors for better pay, nobles resisted peasent demands causeing uprisings in many countries, jews were blamed for the plague, and the church suffered loss of prestige.

    (c.ii.) Multiple Continets were involved, Western Europe 25 million, China/asia 25 million, North Africa an additional 4 million all dead.
