Chicle and Rubber, a good Tire or Gum?
In 1869 Thomas Adams was experimenting with Chicle, Tree resin from sapodilla trees, he thought if he mixed Chicle and Rubber he could make tires. His plan failed but he resold the product as gum. Weird right, Rubber in your gum.

The first Gum ever was called Blibber-Blubber. Do you recognize the name? No. It was a huge failure, The gum stuck to your face when you popped it and it was very hard to remove.

Dubble Bubble.
Dubble Bubble was accedentaly created by Walter Deimer, he made it pink because it was the only color left on the factory shelf. They carried 5 pounds of it to the store and it sold out the afternoon.
