    Benjamin Franklin's Join or Die picture that he drew represented the colonies coming together. The picture meant if you cut up a snake it would die, if you put it back together and work together it will be alive.

    The French and Indian War
    The French and Indian war started in 1754 in the Ohio Valley and oddly the war was not between the French and the Indians it was between the French and the British The Indians were fighting along sides with the French. Most of the Indian tribes were fighting with the British. The war was fought for the land in the Ohio River and the control over North America. The war officially ended in 1763 when the Treaty of Paris was signed.

    The Stamp Act was an act by British Parliament, after the French and Indian War. They needed to tax things because after the war Britian was in debt. The Stamp Act placed tax on all British goods.

    The Quartering Act required colonists required the colonies to provide barracks and supplies to all British soldiers. The Quartering Act was so offensive they had specific parts in the Decleration of Independence. Teh colonists were upset because of the indirect taxes.

    The Boston Massacare was a bunch of colonists in front of the Boston Customs Store and were taunting the British soldierswith rocks, mud, and snow. The protesters called Patriots occupied their city with British troops. The British shot into a crowd and shot and killed 5 people one named Crispus Attucks, who they say started the Revolutionary War.

    The Intolerable Acts were rules or laws that were put on the colonists. most of them were put on Boston becasue Boston was the colony that had the most Patiots and they boycotted more in that colony.

The meeting was made of 13 colonies. they were talking about the Englsih Parliament because the English Parliament just gave Boston Intolerable Acts becasue of what they did in Boston.

    This battle was very important to the Britains and the colonists. what this did to the British is it showed them how much firepower the colonists had and that colonists started riding ond horses to warn the other colonies when the British were coming.
