    Sons of Liberty were the oppents of the Stamp Act. The British goverment coupled the Stamp Act with the Declatory Act. The War was between France and Britain. The Stamp Act lasted from 1756-63.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The whole act started when Samuel Adams and Sons of Liberty used 3 ships to throw 342 chests of tea in the Boston Harbor. The act moved both sides together to war. Charleston, New York, and Philadelphia rejected tea shipments.

    In 1774-1789 the Continental Congress happened served the goverment in the 13 colonies. In 1775 the 2nd Continental Congress happened after the Revolutionary War (1775-83). When the Continental Congress started each of the 13 colonies except for Georgia were fighting for Native Americans.
  • Battles of Lexington and Concord

    Battles of Lexington and Concord
    April 19, 1775 General Gage would send soldiers out to Boston. The Battle was between the British and Boston. The soldiers were sent to Lexington to capture colonial leader Sam Adam and John Hancock. The soldiers would concord where they would sieze their gunpowder.

    Townshend Act leaded to a truce between the two sides in the years before the American Revolution. They didn't have to pay for tax for tea. The downshend Act was named after Charles Townshend. Townshend duties were glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea imported into colonies.

    The battle was between the Britain and France. The battle took place in September and ended in October on 1777 . The Saratoga Monument stands in New York for that important day. They battled 3 times until victory.

    The battle took place in Virginia. The battle was pretty unfair because it was 2 against 1. The battle was against Americans, French and British. The battle had 8,800 Americans, 7,800 French and 6,000 British. The Americans and French were against The British.
  • Peace Treaty

    On March 5, 1783 Britain negotiates with the Americans and the French secretly. On September 3, 1783 the British signed the treaty in Paris. The reason they signed the Peace Treaty was because to end the Revolutionary War. The Peace Treaty also ended American Independence from the Britain.
