    One infection transmitted and killed a whole family of six in Magdalena. Confirmed person to person transmission

    In northern Bolivia 4 people are identified to have the symptoms. The CDC was dispatched immediately.

  • BHF Resurfaces

    February and March of 2007 20 cases of BHF are found in Bolivia, three are fatal.

  • BHF spreads even more

    In 2008 BHF is found in 200 more people on Bolivia

  • Departamental de Salud confirms case

    Departamental de Salud (SEDES) confirms a case near its headquarters in Trinidad.
