First Bicycle The first bike ever created it was not made to travel long distances, it was not powered by pedals, it was used to travel faster short distances, it was called the "Swift Walker" It was made of wood, so when they got destroyed they were chucked out to biodegrade into the soils. -

Upgraded Version of First Bike This was an upgraded version of the swiftwalker the only thing it added was some pedals. The boneshaker was made of wood and other biodegradable materials so it is quite sustainable -
The High Wheel
The High Wheel This bike was called the highwheel like its name it has big wheels and quickly became popular in the European countries. The high wheel was primarily made of wood, so it is very sustainable, since it wasn't in mass production. -
The Unicycle
The Unicycle It was a creation made by Penny Farthing it became popular quickly because it was challenging to get a hang of and very fun to show off. The first of it's kind was just a penny farthing with the rear wheels taken off. The Penny Farthing bike was made of wood so it is also quite sustainable -
Portable Bike
The First Portable Bicycle It was invented by a guy named William Grout. It was made of metals such as steel and aluminium. -

A new bike design A new bike called the "Cruiser" was invented by Unknown, and sold by Shwinn All of the modern bikes ahead are made of metals. -
Mountain Bikes!
Joe Breeze is normally credited with introducing the first purpose-built mountain bike in 1978. Tom Ritchey then went on to make frames for a company called Mountain Bikes, a partnership between Gary Fisher, Charlie Kelly and Tom Ritchey. -
The Stump Jumper Mountain Bike
Mass Production of the Stump Jumper. A new mountain bike is designed it was popular amongst the casual bikers and comp bikers, because of its incredible stability. This incredible bike was called the 'Stumpjumper" its still in production till this day.
