    Began to follow of Hollywood actresses, representative of the ideal of beauty such as Jean Harlow and Marlene Dietrich. This ideal used to be made up of wavy platinum blonde hair, fleshy lips, high eyebrows drawn in arch and also painted nails.

    Rita Hayworth was the ideal of beauty from the 40´s , her hair and make up style marked the most absolute trend of this decade.

    Beauty icons were Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn who affirmed that exterior beauty was a reflex of beauty. The ideal of a beautiful woman used to be with fleshy lips, sensuous bodies and feminity.

    The british model Twiggy completely transformed the feminine beauty ideal. Slimness became an icon for a whole generation. In those years woman beauty model used to have short and blonde hair, big round and arched eyes with false eyelashes and there was also and androgynous look.

    The beauty used to stand out for the tan, the manes , toned and thin body. Athletic figures with little make up were the role models of that time. Actress Farrah Fawcett was considered one of the most beautiful women.

    Eccentricity and excesses identified this year. Shoulders extra large and extra thin waist were the hit of the decade. Besides that it , arose the "business woman". Women used to wear long nails with scarlet red manicure and the brushings . The important thing was to shine and attract attention. Madonna was a clear model during this decade.

    People used to think that the ideal of women with curves and defined silhouettes, that trend began to recover in the year 2000, such as Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce or Scarlett Johansson. Models like Heidi Klum or Gisele Bundchen were also icons of that time and younger ones like Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, marked the end of the “90-60-90” era.
