The Renaissance started off in northen Italy towards the end of the middle ages, some of the artist that were in the middle ages are well know today such as Leonardo Da Vinci who did the last supper/mona lisa and Michelangelo who assisted in the painting on the ceiling of the sistene chapel and The Last Judgement. The Renaissance was a great time of social and cultural change in Europeit went from the 14th and 16th centuries. -
