    .Monteverdi was an important part of the creation of opera music
    .Monteverdi's operas are still performed to this day
    .Monteverdi was already creating music at the age of 15
    .Monteverdi created the L'Orfeo opera piece which established techniques in opera which are still used to this day
    .Monteverdi also created the opera Vespers which displayed very great Arias

    Barbara Strozzi
    .Strozzi was born on August 6th, 1619 and died November 11th, 1677
    .Strozzi was one of the only few women in the 17th century to publish her own compositions
    .Strozzi was most likley a Bastard
    .Strozzi mainly created vocal music
    .Strozzi created Primo Libro de madrigal and Cantate, ariette e duetti which both portrayed unique harmonies which Strozzi was very known for

    Arcangelo Corelli
    .Corelli was born February 17th, 1653 and died January 8th, 1713
    .Corelli wrote almost all his music for stringed instruments
    .At one point in time Corelli taught Handel and Vivaldi
    .Corelli did not allow his music to be published during his lifetime
    .Corelli is known for paving the way ahead for composers to use Concerto Grosso, Corelli created the Christmas Concerto which was performed in a church on Christmas Eve

    .Henry Purcell created more than 100 songs in his short lifespan
    .Henry wrote his first composition when he was 12 years old
    .Henry is buried in the West Minister Abbey in London England next to the organ
    .Henry is known for the creation of the tragic opera Dido and Aeneas but was also known for his adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy The Fairy Queen

    .Vivaldi studied to be a priest at 15 and was nicknamed the Red Priest because of his red hair

    .A lot of works by Vivaldi weren't discovered until 1926, hidden away in a boarding school
    .Vivaldi is best known for his four seasons which was a great way of telling a story through the sounds of music, Vivaldi's Gloria also was important because of its unique melodies and rhythms

    .Rameau was taught to play the harpsichord before he could even read and write
    .Rameau wasn't a big composer until he was 40
    .Rameau's big opera Zais was not performed in the UK until 2013
    .Rameau created an opera of Pygmalion which was illustrated greatly and showed the old Greek story, Rameau also created Les Indes Galantes which was an opera about love that even reached locations in Turkey and Persia

    .Handel was born on February 23rd, 1685 and died April 14th, 1759
    .Handel went blind after a bad eye operation
    .Handel studied law before creating music
    .Handel taught himself to play the harpsichord and the pipe organ
    .Handel is known for his piece of music the Messiah which had a very great religious message and had messages from the old and New Testaments, he was also known for his great story telling in the story of Apollo and Daphne and shows lust and the power of love

    .Bach got at it a lot and had 20 children, 4 sons became composers as well
    .The Brandenberg Concerto was important because it showed new sounds in music and showed the extent Bach went to with his music, The Well-tempered Clavier was known for having the largest scale keyboard solo of the Baroque Period
