    French and Indian War

    The French and British were battling over the Ohio River Valley. The British made a secret deal with the Indians that if they stopped helping the French, they would give them the Ohio River Valley. That partof the war ended up being a British victory.

    Proclamation of 1763
    King George III forbid the colonists from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains. The land with the proclamation actually made sure that the land was reserved for the Indians. Which made the colonists rage filled since they worked so hard for the land, just for it to be taken straight away from them.

    The French taxed the colonists because of the French and Indian war, so they thought of a smart way to get it by taxing them on printed paper. But the colonists did a smart thing and decided not to but any paper related thing that came from them. Along with the member of the House of Burgess named Patrick Henry said, ''Give me liberty or give me death.''

    The colonists were harrassing a British soilder wich led to all of this.The British were put to trial for propaganda because, the colonists thought that the British were going to kill them after a shot went off by mistake which caused the rest of the British to fire killing the colonists as the captain realized and tried to get them to stop, but it was to late.

    Samuel Adams and Paul Revere led a protest to start the boston tea party that caused the people\colonists to boycott and dump all the tea into the Boston Harbor.

    Since the Tea act, The Boston Tea Party, and the trial against the British or Great Britain, all the colonies except Georgia went to philadelphia, pennsylvania and had a metting. They all sat down and discussed their problems with Great Britain.

    The first day the British marched to Lexington and killed eight minutemen. Then at Concord one-hundred red coats died marching over northern bridge. During this there was a major thing that happened, it was the first armed conflict of the revolutionary war. Also it had a thing called "The shot heard round the world".

    In the end of the battle at Yorktown we trapped Corn Wallis used our advanced army to take out his ships so he couldn't leave, then he had no choice but to surrender.
