  • Eric Worrell opened up a little ocean aquarium

    In 1949 a little ocean Aquarium was opened up by Eric Worrell, at Umina on the Central Coast of New South Wales. it was there that Eric started to supply melbourne labs with Snake Venom.

    In Cairns north Queens Land a young snake collecter was bitten by an Taipan that he had caught, while he was in hosptail, befor he died he asked for them to take the snake to Commonwealth Serum Laboratories to be teasted for it Venom.

    From 2010 to 2013 roughley 5 people died from snake bites in Australia, 3 out of thoes 5 snake bites occurred in Queens Land!
