Magna Carta
The Magna Carta is a document that contained two ideas of government. It also agreed for the king not to raise taxes. And also that english nobles had right to trail by jury. -
Articles of Confederation
The Articles of Confederation were the first attempt at national independence. They created a loose allience between the 13 states. -

When the state of Massachutsets raised their taxes, Daniel Shays' went on an angry rant. The angry rant led to the courthouse where the rant attacked it. -
