    The chapel was built as a reunion church for those who followed him. At the time it was open for use it was the tallest building in new york city. The chapel however has never actually been completed.

    picture The ironbridge gorge was the first iron bridge to be built. the engineer that was behind this plan was Abraham Darby II. The bridge reached 30 meeters in length.

    library of congressThe library of congress was established by president john adams. in january of 1815 the library took a donation of 6487 books estamating around $23,950 at the time. On the insides of the library there are beatiuful paintings that were covered up because at the time they were painted they were thought of as disgusting, the drapes have been moved and the paintings have been restored.It holds a copy of every book published and has a vault that goes undergrond and stores the decleration during war.

    pictureThe errie canal was built as a passage way for major boats to exchange goods. It is able to hold boats carrying 240 tons of goods. The errie canal is 70 feet wide and 7 feet deep. in 1918 the canal was rebuilt and can now hold 300 tons of goods. It also made it 12-14 feet deep and 120-200 feet across.

    monument The monument was built as reverance to commander George Washington. The building came to a hault when america went to war. After the war the quarry that had originally given the stone was no longer in buisness so the government had to go to another quarry. As a result the monument is two different shades of white. This monument is considered the most well known in america today.

    picture St patricks cathedral is a monster of a chapel. it has been built form stone and steel. It is 110 meters long, 58 meters wide. It is also big enough to seat 25000 people.

The eiffel tower was built with Iron, wood and a little glass. It reaches over 1000ft tall and weighs around 10,000 tons. The Eiffle tower has also become the main symbol of france!

    The freedom tower was open for work in 2015.
    the freedom tower is 1776 feet tall. that is also the same numbers that we signed the decleration of independance on. it is the replacement of the twin towers that were attacked on 9/11/2001.
    this towering structure was put near the footstepts of the two towers that lived before it.
