    The Iranian Hostages Crisis ended as the hostages were released.
    The Iranian Hostages Crisis is a diplomatic stand-off between the United States and Iran. 52 Americans were kidnapped for 444 days because the United States had the king of Iran and did not want to give them the king. These 52 people were not released until Ronald Reagan was elected which was January 20, 1981.

    The Persian Gulf War began.
    The Persian Gulf began when Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1991. The United States stopped Iraq from taking over Kuwait.

    The Soviet collapsed December 25, 1991 because it was to hard to keep up with the United States. President Mikhail started with high radical reforms which caused them to fail.

    The Los Angeles Riots in 1992 was caused by a civil disturbance when Rodney King was arrest and beaten. The video traumatized Los Angeles and wanted justices for Rodney King.

    Oklahoma City Bombing happened in 1995. A truck full of explosives drove in front of Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Leaving 168 dead and at least 650 injured.

    September 11, 2001 at New York was the day everybody awoke. A group called Al-Qaeda from Islam attack. Hijacking four planes and heading for the United States.At least 3,000 people were viciously murdered that day.
