    This was the first governing document of the Plymouth Colony.
  • Petition of Right

    Petition of Right
    An English document that limits the King of English on what he can and can't do. For example, the document says that the King has restrictions on non-Parliamentary taxation.

    A restatement of the Declaration of Right.

    A legislation that requires a tax to be paid on the transfer of certain documents.

    An event between the people of Boston and the British army. Tensions were growing until the British army fired into a crowd killing 5 people.

    A protest by the demonstrators that destroyed an entire ship that contained tea. These demonstrators dumped the tea into the Boston Harbor costing the East India Company lots of money.
