long ago the religion of Judaism was established, to begin with, most religions at the time were polytheistic however Judaism is monotheistic and will anger others from different religions

a conflict between Hebrews and Egyptians arose as the pharaoh did not agree with the Hebrew religion forcing people to miss treat them and even controlling the way the family operates and builds a family

Jews under Persian rule

540 BCE

the Persian monarch Cyrus the Great conquered the Babylonian empire and consequently ruled over the Jews

Hitler's claim

hitler was an influential person who gradually rose to power by using peoples anger towards the loss of the war he claimed that the loss of the war was the Jewish fault that they wanted the war to be lost he later joined the Nazi group or German Worker’s Party making him more influential and disliked at the same time

hitler was put in jail for his anti-semantic actions which gave him time to write a book Mein Kampf which at first people claimed was wrong and irrelevant due to how he wrote about the Jewish it didn't make sense but it eventually got to them and pointed out what they hated the Jewish

1.Rationing starts in the UK.
2.German 'Blitzkrieg' overwhelms Belgium, Holland and France.
3.Churchill becomes Prime Minister of Britain.
4.British Expeditionary Force evacuated from Dunkirk.
5.British victory in Battle of Britain forces Hitler to postpone invasion plans.

1. Hitler begins Operation Barbarossa - the invasion of Russia.
2. The Blitz continues against Britain's major cities.
3. Allies take Tobruk in North Africa, and resist German attacks.
4. Japan attacks Pearl Harbor, and the US enters the war.

The tide begins to change but genocide starts

1. Germany suffers setbacks at Stalingrad and El Alamein.
2. Singapore falls to the Japanese in February - around 25,000 prisoners taken.
3. American naval victory at Battle of Midway, in June, marks turning point in Pacific War.
4. Mass murder of Jewish people at Auschwitz begins.

The allies begin to take control

1. Surrender at Stalingrad marks Germany's first major defeat.
2. Allied victory in North Africa enables invasion of Italy to be launched.
3. Italy surrenders, but Germany takes over the battle.
4. British and Indian forces fight Japanese in Burma.

we are close to ending the war

1944

1. Allies land at Anzio and bomb monastery at Monte Cassino.
2. Soviet offensive gathers pace in Eastern Europe.
3. D Day: The Allied invasion of France. Paris is liberated in August.
4. Guam liberated by the US Okinawa, and Iwo Jima bombed.

The war is won

1945

1. Auschwitz liberated by Soviet troops.
2. Russians reach Berlin: Hitler commits suicide and Germany surrenders on 7 May.
3. Truman becomes President of the US on Roosevelt's death, and Attlee replaces Churchill.
4. After atomic bombs are dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan surrenders on 14 August.
