    Allen is arrested for 3rd degree bruglary and 2nd degree criminal mischief.

    Allen is off of probation from first arrest.
  • Allen's mother's confrontation

    Allen’s mother maced Johnathon Weaver when her daughter and other girls got into a fight. This was believed to have been a motive for Allen's crime during the trial. When interviewed, Allen's mother said that it was not a big problem and would have never been a motive.
  • Allen shot in the back.

    Allen is shot in the back while walking down the street. The perpetrator was never uncovered or arrested. This shooting does not seem related to the murder of Rowe Jr.
  • Lorenzo Morgan Rowe Jr. shot

    Rowe shot on Branford Street. He was with a group of men and then ran toward his house when he saw two or three men apprach the group with a gun. He was shot in the head with one bullet and taken to the hospital.

  • Arrest Warrant

    Arrest warrant for Amos and Allen is typed, reviewed and signed.
  • Allen and Amos turn themselves in

    7 PM: suspects turn themselves in. According to Allen's mother, Amos and Allen had heard that their names were being used in regards to the shooters. They went to the jail to clear their names and never expected not to come out.

    5:30 PM: James Weaver positively ID’d Gill as the driver.
  • Amos motions to dismiss charges

    Amos claims "ineffective assistance of counsel." The charges are not granted.
  • JJ Dickerson Shot

    Friend of Allen and Amos is shot. This shooting is not believed to be related to the shooting of Rowe Jr. or the incarceration of Amos and Allen.
  • Steven Debow arrested

    Steven Debow arrested for carrying a pistol without a permit. Debow attempted to rob a bodega. Debow is a friend of Amos and Allen.
  • Charging the Jury

    Allen request to charge the jury. Allen's attorney wanted to pull the jury, but the judge ran out beforehand. Once the judge agreed, the state refused the request because information regarding the trial had already leaked to the media. The state feared that the jurors could be swayed.
  • Allen request for mistrial

    Request was never signed. Mistrial was not granted. Amos was granted two mistrials before being sentenced.

  • Tyrell Allen shot

    Brother of Anthony Allen shot and killed in Hartford. Police claim that this was due to a feud with another man in regards to a girl.
  • Change of Life Without Parole Statute

    Supreme Court rejects ruling of life sentences without the possibility of parole for juveniles. Allen’s fate is unknown.
