  • Shackleton almost reached South Pole on his own

  • Roald Amundsen was the first person to reach South Pole

  • Robert Falcon Scott was the second person to reach South Pole

  • Scott died on his way back to his ship

  • Ernest Shackleton and his members sailed from Engalnd to Antarctica. His ship was called the Endurance Voyage
