It was written by Quirino Cristiani and produced by Federico Valle. If not for this film, animation may have never been created.     Fall 1926 The company moves into new building, that becomes known as Hyperion Studios. The studios was open for ten years and is located in Burbank, California. This studio is one of the most historic places in the history of animation because of the quality of animations that were born in these studios.

    Walt Disney died ten days after his 65th birthday. He left 45% of his estate to CalArts to build a new campus. I believe that Walt Disney was the most influential person in the history of animation and I would have liked to see what he would have accomplished if he did not die so young. Link text

    1st feature-length computer animated film, Toy Story, released
    Toy Story went on to earn over 373 million dollars worldwide and is now considered one of the best animated films ever made. Toy story was also nominated for 3 Academy Award nominations and won a Special Achievement Academy Award. I remember watching the sequels to this movie with my sisters and my grandma when I was little. This movie was not only a huge step for the animation industry, but also a large part of my childhood.     Disney acquires Pixar
    Disney purchases Pixar in 2006 for 7.4 billion dollars. Pixar has produced 17 feature films, Toy Story being the first. All of their feature films have made 10.7 billion dollars worldwide. They have earned 16 Academy Awards, 7 Golden Globes, and 11 Grammy Awards. Link text
