Talon opened at Dorney Park. It is on the spot where some of the track of Cedar Creek Cannonball was, which is still in operation, but with a smaller track.

Roller Soaker opened at Hersheypark, as well as the Mini Scrambler, Livery Stables, and the Mini Pirate.

The Claw & Frontier Flyers opened at Hersheypark.

Patriots's Plunge, Wildwater Rapids, and Jumpin' Jack Splash were all added to Wildwater Kingdom.

A new roller coaster, Turbulence, was supposed to open this year. However, due to disagreements with the manufacturer, it was never installed.

Hydra: The Revenge opened this year, replacing the wooden roller coaster Hercules. It is the first coaster to feature a "jojo roll" (a pre-lift hill inversion). Also, the additional charge Screamin' Swing ride.

A laser-gun target-shooting ride, Reese's Xtreme Cup Challenge, opened this year. It's Team Chocolate vs Team Peanut Butter as this ride takes you through as course of targets to shoot while your car drives by. While it does keep score, the winners do not get a prize.

Wildwater Kingdom's 2nd wave pool, Wildwater Cove, opened this year. It replaced the Season Pass parking area. It is smaller than the other one, but it features geysers and wall sprayers in the shallow end.

Hersheypark opened the waterpark section of the park, The Boardwalk at Hersheypark. It includes many waterslides and the largest multilevel, interactive water-play structure in the world. It also includes the previously existing water rides surrounding the waterpark.

Wildwater Kingdom added the Aqua Racer water slide. It's a multi-lane water slide that you ride down on a rubber mat.

Possessed, the first suspended linear induction impulse coaster in the Northeast, opened at Dorney Park. It was originally introduced as Voodoo.

A new steel coaster, Fahrenheit, opened. It replaced the Western Chute-Out slide. It features a 90 degree first hill and a 97 degree drop. Also opened this year, was the Howler, which is right across from Fahrenheit.

Hersheypark expands the Boardwalk with a wave pool and lazy river in The Boardwalk SEAquel.

Demon Drop, an elevator-style drop tower, opened this year at Dorney Park. It was previously located at Cedar Point in Ohio.

Dorney Park's kiddie area, Camp Snoopy, is re-named to Planet Snoopy, and many new rides are added to the area.

A new, inverted boomerang coaster, called Stinger, opened this year at Dorney Park. This coaster replaced the steel coaster Laser, which still operates in Germany as a traveling fair attraction called Teststrecke. Also opened this year was Dinosaurs Alive, which features animatronic dinosaurs and is located near the entrance to Steel Force.

Skyrush, the world's first winged coaster (roller coaster with winged seats), opened this year at Hersheypark.

This year added more water to the waterpark section with the addition of Shoreline Sprayground, which replaced the Roller Soaker.

2014 saw the addition of 3 new kiddie rides. These were the Cocoa Cruiser, a kiddie roller coaster that replaced the Tiny Timbers log flume ride; the Sweet Swing; and the Tea Cups.

This year, Snake Pit, a new waterslide complex that features several new slides, including one that has the floor drop from underneath you, opened. This attraction replaced the Lilly Pads and the Riptide Run water rides. Another Note for this year is that the Hang Time ride was removed.

A flyers ride called Cedar Creek Flyers was added to the park this year. It is located behind Stinger. Also, following this season, the park removed both the Chance Carousel and Screamin' Swing rides.

This year, Hersheypark's 13th roller coaster, Laff Trakk, opened. It's the first indoor, spinning glow-coaster in the U.S. It is on the former site of the Granny Bugs, Miniature Train, and Pony Parade kiddie rides, which were moved to another spot in Midway America. It features several references to past Funhouses that were at Hersheypark in the past.

The Thunderhawk wooden coaster got brand new train, a new paint job, and new lights being put along the outline of the coaster that all hearken back to the 1924 coaster's classic design.

Although not inside the park itself, it is worth noting that the Hershey's Great American Chocolate Tour attraction inside Hershey's Chocolate World was re-opened with its brand new look. it features new animatronics, a new narrator, and the revival of the jungle themed waiting line that had been previously cut off after the entrance was moved to its current location.

Hersheypark's plans for 2017 have been confirmed to be the park's first drop tower ride and the first choose-your-thrill triple tower in the United States.

For 2017, Dorney Park is bringing back the bumper cars. They will most likely be where Hang Time was. They will also be adding a new ride called the kaleidoscope, which will probably be going where the Screamin' Swing was. These among other non-rides will be added for 2017.
