Verdict of the Supreme Court
The verdict of the Supreme court was for the Mendes to be Returned to Sierra Lieone but not at the U.S.'s expense. The Slaves would have to work there way back to their homeland. 53 Slaves were Captured but in the end Only 35 retured to Sierra Lieone
