    It was caused by the British Army, stationed in Boston and rumors said that they were about to make a move on the leaders of the Son of Liberty. That's when Paul Reserve took a long ride from Charles River to Charlestown then to Lexington.
  • Battle of Lexington and Concord

    Battle of Lexington and Concord, occured when the British set out from Boston to Samuel Adams and John Hancock in Lexington. While in Concord they went to destroy the Americans store of weapons and ammunition.

    It was caused by British trying to control the city and seaport.

    Caused by a British General Brugoyne's plan to defeat the American colonies. This Battle took place from September 19 to October 17, 1777.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Caused by Caused by General Nathanael Greene taking over the command of the American Continental army in the south. He put some new tactics that enabled American victories. Which caused the British army to retreat the East coast.
  • The Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris
    caused by Britain and the United States to finally ending war. And it was successful.
