It was a congress of the 13 colonies that discussed how to separate from Britain. This coming because Britain passed the Intolerable Act. -
Lexington and Concord
Since the colonies separated the British marched into Lexington planning to take some American land. To their surprise America came out fighting and upset them. -
Second Continental Congress
Since the war with Britain, the members of the first congress reconvened to talk about their independence from Britain. Thus making the Declaration of Independence something possible. -

After the Continental congress, the leaders of the colonists wrote a declaration passed by the Continental Congress to give them freedom from Britain. -

It was a crucial battle for America and there freedom, somewhat known as the turning point for America in the American Revolution. -

This was one of the worst parts of the war for the Americans. There were extreme weather conditions, sickness, not enough supplies. Although it was a very important part of the fight for freedom. -

After many long fought battles by the Americans, they final trapped the British on a Peninsula in Yorktown forcing them to surrender and the Americans victorious. -

This was the writing of America’s first constitution after winning their freedom from Britain. This giving them all there laws for a new life. -
Adoption of Constitution
This was the people adopting their new way of life after separating from Britain and finally winning their independence. What they tried to do for years on end.
