    The war was started when France decided to expand over the Ohio River. The Indians were allied to both the British and french. The war lasted 9 years and gave the idea of independence to the colonist

    Colonists wanted to expand but England wouldn't let them expand past the Appalachian Mountains. For if they expanded they would need to be protected from the Indians.

    The general for the British had ended up surrendering to the colonist and the colonist allies, the french. The general was so embarrassed that he didn't even show up in person to surrender.
