The Great Awakening was a time of a great christian move in the colonies. Mainly because Christians noticed the decline in their religion. -
Freedom of the Press
Freedom of the press was created by John Peter Zenger. he was charged with libel for fighting that right because it was restricted. In the end Zenger won the case and was not punished and Freedom of the press was a free right now. -
French and indian war
The French and Indian War was between The French, Indians, and the British. During this war many american items were taken or destroyed the British did not like that. In the end the British won the war and sent the Indians to the West of the Appalation Mountains and French lost much land. -

The Shot Heard Around the World
In April of 1775 a battle at Lexington and Concord in Boston. At Lexington British troops colide with 77 minuite men. The British told them to go home but they refused and suddenely a shot rang out no one knows who fired it. -
The Battle of Fort Ticonderoga
The battle of Fort Ticonderoga was between Ethan Allan's troops and people called The Green Mountain Boys. The colonists have attacked the British troops at the fort and seized the cannons that were needed to fight the British. -

This was a battle between the colonists and British troops. this battle came in three waves of british troops. The first wave of British troops failed, the second failed, and the third wave won due to the colonists loss of ammunition. -

On Christmas night Washinton led his troops across the Delaware to create a stealth attack on British troops. He attacked Trenton on both sides wich also helped acchive full suprise. -

After the colonists ambushed Saratogathe British finally surrendered. That battle showed Britian that the colonies had a chance at winning the war. -
