They had more contracts with other TV Stations to be put on their platform. They even bought the rights to the Lord of the Rings franchise. They wanted to reach a wider audience, so they even went into Latin American countries.

They drop instant and just stuck with Amazon Video. -
Around this time, Amazon gets an exclusive deal for Thursday night football from 2022 to 2033. Also, they get the exclusive rights to the Premier League in the UK. There are so many sports now on Prime Video. By this time they have cemented themselves as the best in video streaming.

Prime Video announced that they have renewed their deal to and will be the exclusive broadcaster of Thursday Night Football between the 2022 and 2033 seasons in the United States.
