In August 1960 the Aksakovs' memorial estate in Orenburg region was declared the historocal monument. That meant than the government protected the park, the pond, the house, the mill? everything connected with the name of world-famous writer.

In August 1998 the new house of the museum was built. This building looks like the original Aksakov's house and it contains original Aksakov's belongings.

In the museum you can see original things that belonged to the Aksakovs. There is an old Bible, ancient clock, desk. The exposition of the memorial part of Aksakov's museum reconstitutes the interior of the 18th century and introduces "the family chronicles" of the Aksakovs, showing how the environment, the family and the way of life influenced the writer's inner world. Aksakov's memorial estate has become a well-known social and cultural center thanks to the International Aksakov's festival. Every year the museum organizes Aksakov's days, lectures, exhibitions, literary events. Vladimir Putin supported the idea of building the monument "The red flower" in the Aksakov park near the pond. All pupils of our school like visiting this museum. It is really touching, mysterious and exciting.
