SOLAR WATER TRANSPORT
India's first solar boat was launched in Kerala,Kochi. The main aim of the project is to the replacement of diesel boats to solar-powered boats.Solar boats can operates with less cost and fuel efficiency.This solar boat can produce 2.25 MW using the energy resources.Capacity is about a 75 seater boat.Solar boat operates with minimum vibration compared to diesel ferries.Various trials are conducted like optimization,builders and site trials are conducted before the project.
