Starting March 22, students planted trays of flowers for the indoor growing house.Students also tried spinach planted during the winter, and clean up in the garden began.

During the summer season, the garden depended on volunteers to maintain the space. Nancy Kieraldo created a summer volunteer night on Monday nights where students, families and community members in the Glendale neighborhood assisted with garden maintenance.
