    Vince and Dominic are probably the most important people in Joes life. When Joe was young his father wanted him to become a fisherman like him and his two other brothers. Joe wanted to follow his other two brothers, Vince and Dominic, and play baseball. They were the reason Joe became a baseball player.

    On June 28, 1914 Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated sparkinking WWI. The total amount of people killed during WWI including citizens was 16.5 million people. WWI finally ended in 1918.

    Joes father Guiseppe Dimaggio wanted Joe, and his other 5 children, to be fisherman. Joe didn't want that future for himself. Giuseppe began calling his "lazy," and "good for nothing." This effected joes life greatly.

    In 1941 the United States entered WWII. We were on both fronts (Pacific and Atlantic). The Pacific was against the Japanese, and the Atlantic was in Europe against the Axis powers. The war ended in 1945.

    Mariylin Monroe was subnificant to Joe because she was his wife. Also because, she helped him become more famous.

    Joe was married twice. He was married to Marilyn Monroe, and Dorthy Arnold. He divorced Dorthy then later married Marilyn, then divorced Marilyn, which he then asked to remarrie him who later died of overdose.

    In October of 1962 the cuban missle crisis happened. The Soviet Russians moved nuclear missles to Cuba and threatened to fire them at the US. Thankfully they did not fire. This served as a massive scare to the US.

    George Steinbrenner is a very important person in Joes life. In a hotel someone stole a jacket that had all but one of Joes World Series rings in it. In 1998, the year before Joe died, George gave Joe 9 replica rings during a team reuinion, at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York.
