Baha'u'llah was born in Tehran to wealthy, noble, parents.

The Bab, or Siyyid `Alí-Muhammad, is one of the centeral figures of Baha'i, he prepared the world for the coming of Baha'u'llah.

The Bab announced to the world that he was preparing the people for the comming of a new messenger of god.

Baha'u'llah traveled through Baghdad, Constantinople, and Adrianople, writing hundreds of texts including books regarding religous questions and Baha'i law.

Baha'u'llah and his close family moved to Acre. This is where he wrote his most important religious text. It's Persian name was Kitab-i-Aqdas, or in english, The Most Holy Book.

Abdul-Baha, who was Baha'u'llah's son, was announced leader of the Baha'i faith.

Shoghi Effendi, grandson of Abdul-Baha, is appointed new leader of Baha'i.

He passed away due to the Asian bird Flu.

Before his death, Shoghi Effendi had not appointed a new gaurdian. So, the Universal House of Justice, became the new gaurdian. The Hands of the Cause of God along with the other assemblies, worked to finish Shoghi Effendi's Ten Year World Crusade.
