Next year I, along with my fellow classmates, will be creating our own short films based our own ideas. I hope to be able to finish in good time so that I can enter it into film festival's and competitions such as; http://www.bangshortfilmfestival.com/ and http://www.raindance.co.uk/site/

I wish to enter a short film into a film festival next year, whether I've made it independantly or with collage as I know I could learn from the experience and gain feedback that would help my film-making skills improve.

Graduate from my course at Confetti collage after two years of study. My course is National Diploma in Media Production (Film and TV) and I will hopefully at least a merit for my work. I hope this course will give me the experience I need to to progress in the subject and obtain job positions.

Preferably get a job at either ODEON cinema or HMV/similar to improve my film knowledge and experience in a working environment.I would work there currantly but you have to be 18 years old. Here is the career section of Odeon's website: http://www.odeoncareers.co.uk/

Either a full-time or part-time course studying Film Production and Direction preferably. Studying at a higher level will help me gain the knowledge I'll need to get my foot in the door of the media industry. I could do the course I want at a number of different places e.g collage or http://www.saeuk.com/ for example.

I will apply for a job on the production of a film in a small role like a runner or a researcher. This will help me understand how a film is put together and give me valuable opportunities to network with established film-makers. I could search for jobs on www.mandy.com or http://www.telestart.co.uk//index.php?action=home

I hope that my qualifications and experience will help me obtain a decent job in the BBC, as I would like to work there and then move on to film making. Here is the job section on the BBC website: https://jobs.bbc.co.uk/fe/tpl_bbc01.asp

Debut with my first feature film! I'd need to secure a budget and employ a crew. If I am working at the BBC by this time then I may make one for television, otherwise I will send it to festivals etc.

Now I am a full time film director and direct a film with great actors and a large budget. Maybe this one will win me an oscar?
