  • Death in the Family

    Malcolm Little's father, Earl Little, was killed after being run over by a car. People believed that the act was done by a white supremacist group.

  • Insane in the Membrain

    Malcolm Little's mother, Louise Little, was sent to a mental institution.

  • Sent Away

    Malcolm Little was sent to a Detention Center in Michigan.

  • School

    Malcolm was in enrolled at Mason High School in Mason, Michgan.

  • Foster Care

    Malcolm Little was put into foster care.

  • Army Rejection

    The United States Army decides that Malcolm was not qualified to serve. After his rejecton from the Army, Malcolm begins selling drugs and hustling.

  • Arrested

    Malcolm Little was indicted for larsany and was put on probation for a year.

  • Prison Time

    Malcolm Little begins an 8 to 10 year prison sentence Charleston, Massachusetts for larceny, carrying firearms, and breaking and entering. He begins reading books and granting himself an education.

    Malcolm starts reading books and learning the teachings about Elijah Muhammad.

    Malcolm was released from prison and put on parole.

    Malcolm begins attending Nation of Islam meetings. Shortly after, he moves to chicago and begins living with Elijah Muhammad.

    Somewhere between 1954 and 1958 Malcolm Little changed his name to Malcolm X because he belived that he should not use the last name of slave owners.

    Malcolm trvels to Egypt, Mecca, Iran, Syria, ang Ghana as an ambassador for the Nation of Islam.

    Malcolm speaks at a Harlam unity rally. At this point in his life he starts to change his views.

  • Destruction of House

    Malcolm's house was "Fire Bombed".

  • Death

    Malcolm was speaking at a meeting and was shot several times by followers of him. He was pronounced dead at the hospitol.
