    Register for and complete the following classes: ITT 2031 LAN Switching and Wireless (CCNA3)
    ITT 2032 Accessing the WAN (CCNA4)
    ITT 2041 Building Scalable Internetworks (CCNP1)
    ITT 2020 Network Security Fundamentals
    ITT 2025 Firewalls & Network Security
  • Take ICND #1 Cisco CCENT exam

    By the end of August 2012, I will have signed-up for and taken the CCENT certification exam.

    Obtain a Spring 2013 internship position

    During the winter/spring of 2013, I will find an IT security internship position and gain more work-related experience before graduating in May 2013.
  • Take the ICND #2 Cisco CCNA exam

    Before the Spring term starts at Century College, I will sign-up for and take the second part of the CCNA exam in order to obtain the entry level network certification.

  • Take the CompTIA Security + exam

    By April 30, 2013, I will have signed-up for and taken the Security + certification test offered by CompTIA.
  • Obtain AAS degree at Century College

    On May 11, 2013 I will graduate and get the AAS degree with an emphasis on Information Assurance.
  • Begin working in an entry level IT job

    My goal is to obtain the necessary degree, industry certifications and networking contacts to land an entry level IT job by May 31, 2013.
  • Take the Cisco CCNP exam

    After one year of work experience and studying the necessary curriculum, I will sign-up for and take the CCNP mid-level networking certification exam.
  • Begin working in a mid level IT job

    My goal is to have accrued the necessary work experience and industry certifications to land a mid level IT job by May 11, 2016.
  • Take the CISSP exam

    After four years of work experience and studying the necessary curriculum, I will sign-up for and take the CISSP professional level network security certification exam.
