Since April I have been working as a freelancer and on contract for the social media agency RMM. My work includes blogging trends, copywriting and running social media accounts on behalf of clients.

Helping Kevin Anderson (@kevglobal) on the Media desk with the data visualisation of a map of media cuts in 2009 and writing up the Press Awards with Oliver Luft. The 2009 placement was subsequent to a month-long placement in 2007 won after being chosen for the Guardian Positive Action Work Scheme.

During a particularly tough time finding jobs last year, I created my own hyperlocal experiment, Northwood Local. The project has been well-received and helped generate ideas for fellow hyperlocal projects (e.g. my innovative gritting map).
