    was invented by Max Fleisher and his brother. The Rotoscope was invented to trace over live-action film movement, frame by frame, for use in animated films. Short animated films like Betty Boop, Popeye the Sailor Man, and Koko the Clown. This technique was later used by famous animators like Walt Disney.
