Nicolas Copernicus
He was born in 1473 and died in 1543.
Nicolas found that the old thought of the universe was completely wrong. the old thought was that the entire universe revolved around the earth. But in his view, he saw that the sun was infact th center and all planets, including he earth, revolved around it -
Galileo
Born in 1564 and died in 1642. He perfected the telescope. He also found proof to back up Copernicus's theory of the rotation of the universe. He later found out that if you take two balls at different weights and sizes and drop them, they will hit the ground at the same time. This is where he related mass to acceleration. -
Johannes Kepler
born in 1571 and died in 1630. studied planetary rotations. Proved aristotals work wrong. Got rejected acedemicly. -
Francis Bacon
1561-1626. Tried to get an organiazation together to show how all the different fields of science relate. He felt that there were a few things that changed the world. Gunpowder, printing, and the compass. -
Isaac Newton
newton was born in 1642 and died in 1727. he accomplished so much in his long lived life. He first described the universaal gravitation. Later he discovered the laws of motion.
