History of coca cola

  • John Pemberton

    This is the guy that first invented Coca Cola in his back yard in a kettle pot.He produced the syrup for Coca-Cola®, and carried a jug of the new product down the street to Jacobs' Pharmacy, where it was sampled, pronounced "excellent" and placed on sale for five cents a glass as a soda fountain drink. Carbonated water was teamed with the new syrup to produce a drink that was at once "Delicious and Refreshing," a theme that continues to echo today wherever Coca-Cola is enjoyed.
  • First invented

    Coca Cola was invented in 1886 by a Doctor named John Pemberton a pharmcist in Alanta Georiga. This bottle was often was referred to as the Hutchinson style.
  • Ingredients changed

    Up until 1905, the formula for Coca Cola included cocaine. As well as caffine-rich Kola nut. Today cocaine is still used in Coca Cola but in very small untraceable amounts.
