  • Become victim of fraud

    Today I believe I am a victim of fraud. I got a strange bank statement of multiple purchases that I didn't make.

  • Contact Equifax and notify them of my situation

    I needed to contact a trustworthy credit company in order to figure out a way to stop the fraud from happening.

    companies: Equifax, Experian, and Transunion," (pg. 6).

  • Cancel credit card and check that all my other sources of identity are safe

    Cancelling the credit card will prevent the perpetrator from stealing more money and checking my other sources will allow me to see if they have taken anything else or attempted to steal my identity.
