I decide to get pregnant using a sperm donor.
-
The pregnancy in each of the trimesters are successful and in each of the follow up ultrasounds no teratogens are found in the baby.
-
I go to an OBGYN and get an ultrasound of my ovaries to see if I have a uterus health enough for pregnancy.
-
I go to a genetic counselor and get tested to see if I am a carrier for any genetic diseases that are dominant or recessive such as Cystic Fibrosis or Fragile X.
I am not a carrier for any genetic diseases or anything that would potential cause any gene related malformations in the fetus. -
I become successfully inseminated by a sperm donor from a sperm bank. The sperm donor also goes through parental diagnostic tests, and is found to also not be a carrier for any significant genetic diseases.
-
After 2 weeks I go back to the OBGYN to get a blood test to see if the insemination was successful. The findings show due to the levels of HcG in my blood that I am pregnant.

The baby is born completely healthy
