    By 1993, thanks to the creation of the Mosaic web browser, the World Wide Web was accessible to everyone.

    PDA - Personal Digital Assistant

    John Sculley, CEO and Chairman of Apple, introduced the world to what he named the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
    Apple named their PDA Newton and released Newton for sale in 1993.
    The PDA allowed consumers to have a digital organizer, digital calendar, and the option of a connecting their cell phone.

    Intel Pentium Microprocessor

    Vinod Dham invented and introduced the Intel Pentium Microprocessor.
    A single chip with 2 processors and 3.3 million transistors.
    The Intel Pentium Microprocessor significantly advanced the use of graphics and music for personal computers.

    In 1995, Toshiba, Time Warner, Matsushita Electric, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, Pioneer, Thomson, JVC, Sony and Phillips agreed on supporting and manufacturing a new disc format named Digital Video Disc (DVD).
    DVDs had better video quality, higher storage capacity, and were read only once they were written to.
    Soon, DVDs would end the need and production of VHS.

    SaeHan, a South Korean company invented and released the first ever MP3 player named MPMan.
    The MPMan only had a capacity of up to 64MB.
    3 years later Apple would take the MP3 player to a whole new level by introducing the Ipod to the world.
