  • Intel Supercomputer

    Intel produced a supercomputer that has 512 processors. It was used for satellite imaging and AIDS research. It would soon become the model for other multi-processor systems.
  • The Paragon

    another supercomputer but with almost 4 times as many processors. this supercomputer would be known as the Paragon. It was used for scientific research like ocean flow studies and energy research
  • handheld computer

    Apple designed a product called the Newton but many just called it a personal data assistant. it was used to store information but was not practical for its time.
  • Bebox

    former apple employees designed their own PC called the Bebox. because it did not sell well, less than 2000 machines were produced. Despite the disappointing sales, they had a loyal following.
  • iMac is released

    the iMac came out for $1,300 with a monitor. It was a really big step towards apples success as they were near bankruptcy.
