    This was the start of the most embarrassing episodes for Georgia. The Three term Governor's. This made the nationwide laughing stock. This led to the series of segregationist governors that ended most/some of the progressive reforms that was made by Governor Ellis Arnall.

    Then came the next year they made a fair election. Herman Talmadge was elected as Governor of Georgia.
